It has been some time since my last post but as you will see I have been quite busy with many cakes. Take a look below.
A pillow cake fit for a princess.
This cake was for a great teacher that loves sunflowers.
This treasure chest cake was for a boy who celebrated his birthday like a true pirate.
This cake was a accumulation of one man's favorite things.
This beautiful mermaid cake was for a little girl who loves the ocean.
This wine bottle cake was the perfect center piece for a wine tasting party. Several party goers thought it was an actual bottle for the tasting.
I was approached about making a cake for a little boy obsessed with playing with bugs. I wanted to make something whimsical and not disgusting. This is what I decided upon. The kids had a wonderful time picking out which bug they wanted to eat.
This cake was for a teacher appreciation luncheon at my kids' school. The teachers felt special to receive such a unique cake.
I was fortunate enough to take a cake decorating class with the renowned Colette Peters. We created a wedding cake from start to finish using swatches of fabrics and papers for inspiration. This was my creation.
This was a whimsical cake for a little girl.
This is probably my most unique cake. It was for a boy who celebrated his first communion. The day also happened to be the day of the Kentucky Derby so I was asked to make this cake to celebrate both events.
These cupcakes were for a boy who was also celebrating his first communion. The cupcakes were meant to look like a stained glass window of a chalice with the eucharist.
This cake was for a fashionista with a love of wild shoes.
Mickey! What else is there to say.
Amazing! You are so talented. If we go down to FL for Christmas this year I am going to have you do a cake for Austin's birthday while we are in "the neighborhood."
